What does CRS draw means?

As discussed above, the Express entry program uses the CRS to rank the profiles based on their CRS score in the express pool. Now, IRCC held express draws (CRS draw) to issue Invitation to Apply (ITA) to higher-ranked profiles in the pool. With the help of the ITA, candidates are able to submit their application to the IRCC with the proper set of documents to apply for Canada PR Visa to the IRCC within 60 days of getting the ITA.

IRCC will then evaluate the application and on positive evaluation, Canada PR is issued to the candidates.

Now, the CRS draw is held on a regular time interval with approximately 2 weeks. It allows the pool to replenish with skilled profiles. If the time interval increases between the two consecutive CRS draws, the minimum CRS score requirement or express entry cut-off also increases.

In the latest express draw held on October 2nd minimum CRS score requirement is set at 464 points. This means the express profiles with 464 or more points were issued the ITAs to apply for Canada PR Visa.
